Smoothies and Popsicles: A Raw Vegan Recipe for Kids!

This recipe is really two recipes in one! It's a recipe for a green smoothie, and also a recipe for spinach popsicles! You can make one, either, or both!

You'll need:

2 bunches of spinach
3 bananas, sliced and frozen
1 to 2 cups water
a little stevia, which is optional

Blend the water and spinach in a blender until smooth. The add the frozen bananas and a little stevia and blend again on high speed until smooth.

For a smoothie, just drink it like it is.

For popsicles, pour the mixture into popsicle trays and freeze for several hours or overnight.

This recipe can be doubled or tripled if you're really hungry!

Chocolate Ice Cubes ... a Vegan Recipe Project for Kids!

Hi! This is Alex! And Ledger! We made chocolate ice cubes! You can make them, too!

Measuring for this recipe ...

A "spoon" is any spoon. You can use a tablespoon or a soup spoon or whatever kind of spoon you have. If you want a lot of chocolate ice cubes, use a big spoon!! (What's important is that you use equal parts of the first three ingredients!)

ingredients

  • 3 spoons coconut oil
  • 3 spoons cocoa powder
  • 3 spoons powdered sugar
  • 1 dash salt

equipment
  • 1 ice cube tray
Stir together all the ingredients and pour into an ice cube tray. Fill the little ice cube compartments about a half inch deep with chocolate.

Put in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.

Pop chocolates out of ice cube tray and enjoy!!
Watch our recipe video and we'll show you how to make chocolate ice cubes ... !!!
